Released: January 28, 2017

Moon’s latest release, “Paradise String,” is a four-song EP chock full of pleasant melodies. Their songs are blissful, gentle combinations of indie pop and post-punk. The guitars at times are reminiscent of the catchy jingles by bands like The Cure, exemplified beautifully at the ending of the song, “Tender Friends.” The vocals are soothing and compassionate, like warm conversations between close friends. Moon delivers a pastel palette of tracks for those who earn and those who yearn. The overall catchiness can delight listeners of all shapes and sizes. “Paradise String” is a very welcomed surprise discovery.  Keep your eye on the Nova Scotia group to gain steam with this EP and their other recent release, “Rarities Etc.”
